"The Hotel du Fort is well-situated on the west side of downtown, next to rue Ste.Catherine, near Atwater. It offers first-class rooms and enormous suites at reasonable rates for a downtown Montreal hotel. It offers a superb buffet breakfast - excellent value for the cost."

"Most of the staff of the reception of this Hotel, are not nice people, so do not give a cordial greeting to the hosts. In some cases, prefer to ignore the person seeking assistance at the counter. Most who are indifferent and elitist.
Only one person is welcome was friendly and always provide the information requested. She is a person who is only on Saturday morning at the reception, speaks English, French and Spanish (with straight hair, long and black, is short). Unfortunately I do not remember the name.
The rest of the hotel: cleanliness, breakfast, rooms etc, was excellent."

"Although we only stayed one night, our stay at Hotel Du Fort was great. The rooms are large and it was located close to many amenities and close to old Montreal. The staff was very helpful and I would recommend this Hotel to anyone."
