"The pool was nice but the visitors to the pool weren't customers of the hotel. It was crowded with college-age kids. The adjoining restaurants were very nice and the food was great."

"The lobby was "over the top" (not a compliment). The buffet breakfast had some very hard crepes.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable. The location is good."

"I was promised buffet breakfast for two with my confirmation cvfn7y3 (Rebecca). I was not given any vouchers upon arrival for breakfast. After breakfast, went to settle bill and was charged for 3 breakfast buffets. (I had expected only to pay $15.00 for my daughter). Management would not acknowledge any responsibility and said that freehotelsearch.com had lied to me. I paid the bill, but it was very disappointing since this was one of the reasons for the choice of staying there in the first place and one of the considerations for paying the price for the stay. The Bar that is located on the 1st floor of this hotel was also extremely smoke filled and the smell of smoke went through the whole hotel. It was not especially bad in our room, but everywhere else, it was terrible. Not a good experience at ALL!!"

"Despite being built more recently, the hotel has an air of Art Deco faded opulence. The rooms are pleasantly decorated and are very well appointed. Overall, it would probably be more suitable for the slightly older client or someone whistful for a little Twenties grandeur on a budget."
