"This hotel was so bad, a flea-bag dive, that I didn't even spend one night there. I got there to find that the street did not look at all like the photo, the neighborhood was seedy. The room stunk of smoke, and there was no way to lock the door other than the key - no chain or deadbolt. It felt compeltely unsafe. No window. An emergency exit at the back was covered over by a curtain, but I had no way of knowing if someone could get in from the outside. When I told the owner I did not want to stay because the conditions were unsuitable, he came outside and yelled at me in front of my three daughters, who were quite frightened. This hotel should be out of business."
