"I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. It was much ritzier in 1997 when I first stayed there. This visit was by far the least enjoyable (although nothing horrible to write home about), my most recent prior visit being in 2003. We checked in to 2 rooms only to find one room had not been made up from the previous guests. The hotel quickly found us another room close by to our second room. The blankets and bathrooms are getting old (although the bathrooms are still clean and the sheets still white), but the furnishings look as if they've been more recently replaced."

"My room on the 19th floor was very quiet. The AC was adequate, and the king size bed was very clean and comfortable..Nice view up Rue St. Catherine. Their buffet breakfast had nice variety, and was excellent each morning."

"Very convenient location for metro as well as Old Montreal. Parking for SUV's was a problem. The indoor garage levels were intended for small vehicles and larger cars were to park at an outdoor lot. After reading about break ins in outdoor lots, I was reluctant to park a new car in an outdoor lot. We managed to squeeze the SUV into an indoor spot on Friday and when there were no spots on Saturday night, the hotel offered us space in the reserved section.
The concierge was very helpful with directions. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend it."

"The staff were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about Montreal and its attractions. My children and I enjoyed the restaurant very much. I especially liked the proximity of the hotel to Old Montreal and the Latin Quarter. We had a great time!"
