"Fix the honking problem in Montreal"
"This hotel was both clean and professional. the location was great and the service adequate. The only downside and the reason I wouldn't recommend the Econolodge is the regular (3 out of 3 nights) 2-3am fights, or car honking fights on the street. This was terrible and left me sleepless! If they could fix that I would be back. Until then however, I would rather be outside of the downtown area and travel for longer, just so I could sleep."

"it was OK........"
"Nothing really specific. Didn't really need anything from the hotel staff during our stay. Although the only downside is parking. There is no parking and it's outrageous the prices they have for parking near the hotel. If your staying at a hotel and paying for it, they should at least have a place with free parking for there customers."

"Breakfast included. What breakfast? Tea and coffe and a broken toaster. A terrible noice in the hotel corridors outside the room, from people, uring the nights that made it impossible to sleep. We had to ask for towels and some days we had to wait for them because they didn't have any clean ones."

"The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly. I didn't need any assistance with getting around, but would not have hesitated to ask. The breakfast available (for free) during the week was a nice surprise. I wasn't aware of non-smoking rooms (didn't see it advertised on-line) and would have preferred that, but my "smoking" room was not unpleasant. In all I felt the hotel was GREAT value for my dollar. It was close to public transit and a number of amenities and attractions. A great place if all you need is a place to stay while visiting or sight-seeing."

"There are hidden costs.... but I suppose this is what it's like at all hotels.
There was exposed piping in our room and the toilet was very loose.
There also seemed to be a lot of spiders around....... oh well, it keeps away the bad insects I guess.
The guy at the desk was so nice. Too bad he has no other staff to help him out!"
