Overview
This hotel is located in the heart of downtown and an easy walk to Metro, shops and restaurants. 

The hotel has 170 smoke-free and pet-free rooms over 21 floors with elevator access. 

All rooms include free Wi-Fi, free local calls, a flat screen TV with cable and pay-per-view movies, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a desk, dataport, a safe, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, windows that open and climate control. 

Some rooms include a sofabed, a living area and city or Mount Royal park views.

Rooms are furnished with 1 or 2 queen beds or 1 king bed.

Valet parking is available for $25 per day with unlimited in-out privileges.

Restaurants on site: 
Zawedeh Restaurant offers Lebanese licensed dining and a bar on site. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 
Café Castel serves specialty coffee, sandwiches and salads. 
Room service is also available.

Hotel amenities include a fitness centre, a business centre, dry cleaning, a gift shop, concierge, a VIP lounge with fireplace, ice/vending machines, safety deposit boxes, 24-hour front desk, free newspapers and meeting rooms.

What’s nearby? The hotel is located beside the main campus of McGill University and is a 5-minute walk from the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and the shops on St Catherine Street. Old Montreal is a 30-minute walk and Bell Centre is an 11-minute walk. 

Getting around: The train station is accessible via the Bonaventure Metro Station, a 12-minute walk or 9 minutes by Metro, and the bus station is at Berri-UQAM Metro Station, a 15-minute Metro ride away. Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) is a 22-minute drive or 42-minute ride using the 747 bus. The Good
This hotel was well liked by many of its guests for providing a clean room at a reasonable cost in a great downtown location.

The rooms were described as clean, spacious and well cared for. Guests appreciated having mini-fridges, bathtubs for soaking in and often spoke of comfortable beds.

The location was considered prime. It was very close to Metro, Mount Royal, McGill University, the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Catherine Street restaurants and shops and guests found it convenient to the Bell Centre, the Underground City and Old Montreal as well.

Staff were excellent. They were described as warm, attentive, very friendly and helpful.

Guests often spoke well of the restaurant and cafe. They found delicious food and attentive service.

Guests often said the hotel provided good value and many planned to return.

The Bad
There were a few complaints found online.

Some guests found noise disturbances. They cited noisy AC units, a mini-fridge, slamming doors, guests arriving late to the hotel that could be heard, the elevator, the ice machine and traffic or sirens in front facing rooms on the lower floors
.

A few guests did not like having frosted glass on the bathroom door.

Occasionally guests were disappointed with the service in the bar and with the fact that it closed at 10 pm.
