Overview
Located along the Trans-Canada Highway and about a 14-minute drive from Mont Tremblant ski resort, the Hotel Vacances is geared towards road travellers who require a well-priced hotel with easy highway access, extended kitchen amenities an indoor pool.

This hotel has 30 air-conditioned guest studios, mezzanines, rooms and suites, all of which offer free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a kitchenette, a desk, a fireplace, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Standard rooms offer one queen bed, while rooms with a sitting area and sofabed and sleeping accommodations for up to six people are also available.

Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, a hot tub, a sauna, ski storage, a play area, a business centre, a meeting room, vending machines, barbecue facilities, guest laundry facilities and free parking. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available upon request, and pets are not permitted.

Casino Mont Tremblant is about a 17-minute drive north, while Golf Manitou and the Scandinave Spa are both under a 10-minute drive northwestward. Mike's Restaurant is roughly a 9-minute walk west of the hotel, and Mont Tremblant International Airport (YTM) is approximately a 50-minute drive northward. The majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, with much praise going to the hotel's location, rooms and value.

Numerous lodgers praised the hotel's location. They found it to be close to the highway, skiing, restaurants, golf, a supermarket, Casino Mont Tremblant and a shuttle to the Mont Tremblant ski area.

The hotel's accommodations were complimented by many guests. They described their rooms as clean, spacious, well equipped and functional, with comfortable beds.

Several reviewers were pleased with the hotel's value. They found the hotel to provide excellent value for money, be close to Mont Tremblant yet and less expensive than other hotels in the area, and described the rates as excellent and reasonable.

The hotel's staff were also praised by several lodgers, who characterized them as friendly and courteous. One reviewer remarked that the staff had a great attitude.

The Bad

These guests reported the hot tub being broken and unclean on occasion, the pool being too cold, and a lack of privacy due to the pool being visible from the road and people walking by.

A few lodgers complained of noise transfer during their stays. They reported traffic noise in highway-facing rooms, as well as noisy in-room air conditioning and heating units.

The hotel's lack of elevator was a disappointment to a couple of reviewers. These guests recounted carrying heavy luggage up to their second-floor rooms, and recommended those with mobility issues book rooms on the ground floor.
