The GoodThe majority of the critiques consulted for this analysis were positive, with praise going to the hotel's value, rooms and staff.
The hotel was praised for its value by many guests, who described the prices as affordable and reasonable. One guest mentioned the hotel was "worth every dollar", while another remarked it was "excellent value for the money".
Numerous reviewers were satisfied with the accommodations at this hotel. They described their rooms as quiet, spacious and well-equipped, with great views of the St. Lawrence River (featured in some but not all rooms). It should be noted that while most reviewers found their rooms to be clean, some felt the housekeeping could have been more complete (see below).
The hotel's staff were the source of several compliments by lodgers, who described them as friendly and helpful. It should be noted however, that a few guests mentioned they had difficulty communicating with some of the staff who were not bilingual (see below).
Some guests also praised the hotel's location, and found it to be close to the St. Lawrence River, the casino and whale watching.
The Bad

Some guests complained about the hotel's parking. They reported not being able to find a space at times due to overcrowding, and also described needing to climb many stairs to get back to the hotel after parking.
A couple of reviewers were disappointed with the hotel's lack of elevator, and found there to be too many stairs to climb in and around the hotel.
As noted above, a few reviewers felt that their rooms could have been more thoroughly cleaned, and a few guests mentioned that not all staff were sufficiently bilingual and they claimed they had difficulty at times with communication.
