Many guests praised the accommodations at this hotel. They described their rooms as tastefully decorated, clean, spacious and cozy, with comfortable beds and linens.
Numerous reviewers were pleased with the hotel's location. They described it as easy to find, as well as close to the St. Lawrence River, Grand Fonds Ski Centre and the Charlevoix Casino, and within walking distance of the downtown area.
The hotel's staff were the source of several compliments by lodgers. They were characterized as warm and attentive, and helpful in suggesting restaurants, giving directions and carrying luggage for guests up the stairs.
The hotel was praised for its value by several guests, who described the prices as good and reasonable. One guest remarked the hotel was, "perfect for a weekend in Charlevoix at a low cost".
The Bad
While the majority of critiques consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a few complaints about the lack of elevator and noise transfer.
