The GoodThe overwhelming majority of reviews used for this analysis were positive, and guests were particularly pleased with the hotel's staff and its rooms.
Staff here delivered excellent service, according to guests, and went above and beyond to accommodate and to please. They were professional, efficient and gracious.
Rooms were clean, comfortable and luxurious, according to guests. Guests liked the decor, the linens and the finishes in the bathrooms (granite counter tops). Several guests also said that the rooms were spacious. Guests also praised the views of Lac Leamy that are available in many of the rooms.
Several guests commented on the on-site amenities. They enjoyed the pool areas, saying that they were clean and large. A number of guests had services done at the on-site spa and thought it was a good facility. They also liked that it was right on hotel premises.
There were some additional comments from guests who enjoyed the quality of the food and the service offered at a number of the on-site restaurants, and from guests who liked this hotel's proximity to Ottawa.
The Bad
The bulk of reviews used for this analysis were positive, but there were a handful of guests complaints among them, which did not seem indicative of overall guest experience.
Some guests had difficulties getting reception on their TVs and had trouble operating them.
A couple of guests had challenges regulating room temperature, and found their rooms to either be very hot, or very cold.
A few guests felt that this hotel was expensive.
