Guests did offer some negative feedback about their stays.
The property, although seemingly well maintained and updated with better furnishings was showing some signs of aging and occasionally guests complained of carpets that were either dirty or smelled musty and which they felt should be tended to. Others mentioned the sight of mould on bathroom tiles.
Sometimes guests complained of getting a motel room (drive up room in the motel section of the hotel) when they thought they were booking a hotel room. In addition some of the rooms, although freshened up, seemed old and had small bathrooms with little space for toiletries.
A couple of guests felt it was a little too far to downtown for guests without their own vehicle as cabs were hard to get (so they said) and there was no public transit available.
Finally, a few guests had trouble with the Wi-Fi in their rooms and in a meeting room in the basement. They said it was slow and difficult to access. Guests who had complaints typically found the hotel overpriced.
