Numerous guests were pleased with the hotel's location, finding it close to downtown Charlottetown, restaurants, shopping, the waterfront, the ferry terminal, Confederations Centre of the Arts and Victoria Row. One patron noted, "The location couldn't have been better. Easy walking distance into town and the waterfront. Parking was available in the back".

The hotel's accommodations were praised by many lodgers. They described their rooms as beautiful, spacious, clean and well equipped, with reliable Wi-Fi. 

Several reviewers complimented the hotel's staff and characterized them as friendly, helpful and accommodating. One guest remarked, "The Innkeeper is warm and friendly, and goes out of her way to help with plans for the day, dinner recommendations and reservations, etc. The other staff who come in daily are equally as helpful, and all take great pride in the history of the Inn".

One patron noted, "Every morning there were blueberry muffins and cheese/bacon biscuits waiting with coffee and juice.
