The Good
Many guests enjoyed this hotel. It was perfectly located with beautiful harbour views, near to great restaurants and shops along the wharf.

It was newly renovated and offered tastefully decorated, very clean and well maintained rooms. Guests typically found the beds and linens very comfortable and one recent guest loved the well-designed storage space.

The staff played a large part in guests' enjoyment of the hotel. They were mentioned by name often and guests invariably found them caring, attentive and helpful.

Many enjoyed the friendly dining on site. They mentioned enjoying fish, clam chowder and lobster meals. One recent guest put it like this, "Great restaurant on site Waters Edge -good local themed food."

Many guests loved the pool and the impressive fitness centre. One reviewer added, "The pool area is beautiful with a corridor for those who like to do laps."

The Bad
Although the hotel was very much enjoyed by their guests, a few found the experience somewhat lacking. These guests typically had rooms without views and felt the rates and restaurant prices were a little too much.

Another criticism found in the reviews recently was that although the rooms were redone, the elevators were still dated and slow moving, especially bothersome when the hotel was full with a convention.

There also was the very occasional comment that the pool was dated.

A very small contingent of guests were disturbed by noise during their stays. They named people in the hallways, in adjoining or nearby rooms or from the laundry room next door.
