Overview
This property is situated within the Brudenell Provincial Park and overlooks the Brudenell River. With an on-site golf course, pools, yoga classes and bicycle rentals, this resort is well suited for guests looking for a more active getaway.

Please note: This hotel is only open seasonally, late May through October.

This hotel offers a variety of accommodation styles, including rooms, suites and private cottages. All units are smoke free and include free Wi-Fi, a TV, a coffeemaker, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and air conditioning. Suites also include a microwave and a mini-fridge. Most rooms and suites also include a private balcony, while select suites also include a sofabed. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available.

Each of the 16 private cottages has two bedrooms with separate entrances (that can be locked off and sold as 32 separate guest rooms). One bedroom has a jetted tub, a mini-fridge, a wet bar and microwave, while the other room has a living room, a fireplace, a full kitchen (with a fridge, a stove, a microwave and a dishwasher). Each cottage also has a private deck and BBQ. 

Free parking is available on site and pets are permitted in select rooms.

There are multiple on-site dining options at this resort. Club 19, a pub-style restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, while The Gordon on the River restaurant is open for dinner only. The Pool Deck Bar serves alcoholic beverages.

The on-site Spa, which is open Monday through Saturday, uses the Aveda product line and offers massage, body wraps and treatments, facials, hand and foot care and make-up applications. Other on-site amenities include an on-site golf course, an indoor and an outdoor pool, a hot tub, a sauna, a fitness centre, yoga classes on Sundays, a marina, bicycle and canoe rentals, two tennis courts, horseback riding, a business centre and meeting space.

The town of Georgetown is about 8 to 12 minutes away by car and includes shopping and restaurants. The Wood Islands Ferry to Nova Scotia is about a 30- to 45-minute drive away, while Charlottetown is about 50 minutes away by car. Charlottetown features the Confederation Centre of the Arts, Beaconsfield Historic House, the University of Prince Edward Island and the Charlottetown Airport (YYG). Many guests described the staff as friendly and accommodating, while one reviewer said that the "staff cannot do enough to make your stay a time to remember".
