The rooms had maintainance issues according to some guests, who found: broken outlets on the wall, peeling wallpaper, electrical lamps needed repair, wall had a hole in it, dresser had a drawer missing, and shower didn't work properly due to low water pressure.
Some complained that the hotel was dated. There were non-smoking rooms that reeked of smoke, mattresses were too hard, too soft or old and saggy, thin sheets, old TVs, worn furniture, dark and dingy rooms and musty odours.
Some felt the breakfast was too minimal, ended too early on the weekend (9 am) complained about a lack of fruit and juice or said it just consisted of cereal, toast and coffee. Other said the breakfast area was too small and right by the lobby door.
