Comments regarding the hotel staff were plentiful and it appeared that many guests found the staff accommodating, helpful and friendly. Some reviewers mentioned how the staff kindly helped them with local information. On other occasions, the staff offered some of the guests coupons to local bars and restaurants. Some guests felt that the staff were friendly at all times and they were described as doing everything "with a smile."
The Windsor Casino was about a 2-minute drive or a 10-minute walk from the hotel (Google Maps), which several guests thought was convenient. The hotel was also central to several bars and restaurants, which also won points with many reviewers.
Guests who liked the hotel also spoke highly of the accommodations. They felt that the rooms were large and spacious, and the housekeeping staff were praised for keeping the guest rooms spotless.
The Bad
Guests did have a few concerns with the noise level and the parking situation.
Guests were upset with the parking garage at the Holiday Inn. These guests described the garage as "annoying" and "strange." The parking garage is apparently narrow and features spiral ramps. Some guests felt that it was difficult to navigate and park their vehicles.
Noise was another common complaint, with some guests hearing sounds in the hallways and from other guest rooms. Outside noise seemed to be louder in rooms facing the street and one guest reviewer stated that it's probably best to ask for a room towards the back of the hotel.
