"In all Honesty, This Hilton does not give the rest of the Hilton's across North America a good name. I was extremely embarrassed to take my fiance to a hotel such as this one. I think its time they look into tearing down and rebuilding. If the hotel in the Windsor Casino wasn't all booked out, I would of stayed there instead. I'm sorry, but I don't mean to be disrespectful, but its the honest truth. I wish I could of gotten my money back."

"The hotel was nice...until check out. They ripped us off. the price was supposed to be $135.00 US...with the discount...but they said the discount didn't apply to us and we were charged $180.00 US. Both of those prices were without tax. I was very upset at this treatment and I will most likely not use this hotel or site again for travel arrangements."

"The Hotel was very close to the clubs and bars downtown which was convienent and was the reason we chose the hilton. The lobby of the hotel, the beds, and the view were the only nice things about the hotel. For a hilton i was disappointed with the decorating. It was very outdated. The parking is a big hassle as well. You have to park behind the hotel in a pay parking garage and then you have to haul all your suitcases through down the stairs (because the elevator didnt work) then through a run down office building just to get to the radisson lobby then u go farther and you finally reach the hilton. Overall i think it was a little expensive for such an outdated hilton, but i would stay there again because of the actual rooms and the amazing staff."

"Long twisting hallway to parking garage is not monitored, scary and creepy. Need to make it feel safer."
Bethany from Dublin, OH US stayed on December 04, 2005

"Overall the stay was fine but I did find the hotel to be very under-staffed. I had several questions and was forced to wait 10 minutes at times to speak to someone. (the "guest services" line was never answered) The concierge was rarely around and didn't make an effort to go to the extra mile when I needed assitance getting to Detroit for the night. If you are familiar with the area and/or NOT looking to do anything other than stay in Windsor and walk everywhere, it would be a fine place to stay. (there is a shuttle to the casino) The rooms were very clean and the view was great. Morale of the story: Don't count on any help from the staff. Last thing - I was not told that the parking garage connects to the hotel through a walkway/mall in the back, I had to figure that out for myself."

"If this hotel was a Hilton, WOW!!!!!!!!! THEY NEED TO KNOCK THIS DOWN AND REDO THE ROOMS. VERY OLD AND SMELLY...THIS PLACE IS RUN DOWN..AND NEED TO GET IT IN SHAPE. I'M A HILTONS HONORS MEMBER AND THIS BYFAR IS THE WORSE HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AND I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN..I THINK I SHOULD RECIEVE A FULL REFUND,,PLEASE LET ME KNOW BILLKARL@EARTHLINK.NET...DID NOT LIVE UP TO THE HILTONS STANDARDS AND I'M GOING TO E-MAIL THE CEO OF THIS HOTEL..VERY BAD SERVICE...THERE WAS STAINS ON THE FLOOR AND THE CLUB ROOM WAS CLOSE, ROOM SMELLED VERY BAD, AND WHEN WE WENT INTO OUR ROOM THERE WAS CRAP IN THE BATHROOM...THIS WAS TERRIBLE........"
Andrew from Fort Wayne, IN US stayed on July 04, 2004

"The hotel was fine but Windsor is the pits unless you're looking for crummy bars and massage parlors. Better to stay on the US side."
Anonymous guest from Paris, FR stayed on October 28, 2003

"I wish there had been a more comfortable and quiet cocktail lounge. The only bar was crowded and noisy, and the service in it was terrible. But the bedroom was clean and proper. And checking in and out was fast and efficient. We were well treated in the restaurant. So no major complaints."
