This smoke-free hotel has 189 air-conditioned guest rooms and suites, all of which offer free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a coffeemaker, a kitchenette, a whirlpool tub, a desk, a DVD player, a hairdryer, and an iron/ironing board. Studios offer one king or queen bed, while one-bedroom suites offer a king or queen bedroom with TV, a separate living area, and more square footage. Two-bedroom suites offer one king bedroom and one bedroom with two queen beds.
Hotel amenities include a 24-hour convenience store, a fitness room, a business centre, on-site laundry, a meeting room, and a free airport shuttle. This hotel is not accessible, and parking is free. One pet is permitted per room, for a $25 per day fee. A light evening meal is included for each guest Monday through Thursday, and a free buffet breakfast is served daily. The GoodThe majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive with much praise going to the hotel's staff, rooms, and value.
Most guests were extremely complimentary of the staff and service at this hotel. They were characterized as accommodating, kind and concerned, and with an attention to detail. One guest mentioned, "they bend over backwards to be helpful."
The rooms were a source of several compliments by reviewers, who described them as clean, quiet, spacious and modern. These guests enjoyed the whirlpool tubs, the fully-equipped kitchenettes with dishware, and the ample storage provided.
Many lodgers found the hotel to be of good value, citing the included daily breakfast and light dinner provided Monday through Thursday as value-added features. The low rates, free airport shuttle and proximity to bus stops (just out front) were also much appreciated.
The Bad
While most of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a couple common complaints among them, which included the area, and seating in the breakfast room.
Some guests found the area around the hotel a bit isolated. They described it as being in an industrial area, with "not a lot of shops nearby". It should be mentioned, however, that most were pleased with the hotel's location and its proximity to the airport and bus stops (which go directly to Finch subway station).
A couple of reviewers complained that there was not enough seating in the breakfast area and that it was too crowded.

"Excellent hotel if your planning a trip to Wonderland"
"We had a family trip to Canada's Wonderland. The rooms were nice and clean and very affordable. It was minutes from wonderland so we could just wake up and go, and stay at wonderland until closing and not worry about a long drive back to the hotel. Hotel staff were nice. Especially nice to have a kitchenette to buy snacks and breakfast cereal instead of eating out. My only issue was the lack of seating in the room. If someone is still sleeping on the bed and the pull out couch is being used, there is no where in the room to lounge, even though there was a huge unused space in the bedroom. Should put a table a couple of small chairs."

"wonderful stay"
"we had a wonderful 2 day stay, when we arrived our room was not quite ready, however staff were great, while we waited. the room that was booked on line indicated a sleeper sofa,which was not the case, no problem, extra cot brought in, the suite we got was absolutely the best, wish I had that bathroom in our house, we loved it so much, that we ordered food in, if we travel anywhere where there is an extended stay we will be sure to book it."

"home away from home"
"We had a room with queen bed and pull out couch. Fully equiped kitchen with workable counter space. room was very clean and inviting. 2 t.vs which made the kids happy and free wireless. Breakfast was good and well run. I must commend the staff. When we arrived it was very busy. I saw one customer being very abrupt and still the staff kept their cool. They were very helpful at all times. Just one thing..my son said the couch matress wasn't very comfy. We will definately stay here again."

"An additional on-site restaurant with room service would add a whole lot of extra to the amenities. The on site suite shop is very over prized and no convenience shopping facilites nearby. Otherwise great value for money and nice self service laundry facilities."

"This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is rare to get more than you expect these days, but this hotel delivered. The accommodations were very good, nothing too unusual. The people were wonderful, friendly, helpful and sincere. The extra touches of the well-maintained fishpond in the center of the hotel and the aviary with the unusual birds outside was a great treat. The daily breakfast and evening "snack" (aka dinner) truly added value to our stay.
All in all a great experience. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others."

"Great hotel and amazing stay. Rooms were had everything you needed with a full kitchen, nice size bedroom, jacuzzi bathtub, and a sitting room with tv.
Everything was in great shape and if you needed ANYTHING you could call the front desk and get it. Comp. breakfast was wonderful as well."
