The GoodGuests who stayed at the Holiday Inn frequently praised the hotel's rooms, staff, and nightly rate.
The Holiday Inn is apparently one of the lowest priced hotels in Trenton because a large number of guest reviewers praised the hotel for offering reasonably priced rooms. One guest reviewer stated that the hotel was "very affordable for families."
Thoughts regarding the staff were mostly positive and several guests felt that the hotel's workers were exceptional, polite, friendly and helpful.
Guest feedback regarding the rooms were also positive, with many guests describing the accommodations as "clean" and "large."
The Bad
The overall quality of the hotel didn't impress some guests and there were a few complaints regarding the breakfast.
Breakfast isn't included in the price of the room and many guests were upset with the cost. They felt that the breakfast was overpriced. One guest complained about the quality of the breakfast and he described the food as "overcooked."
The Holiday Inn is an older hotel and complaints regarding the maintenance were widespread. The majority of guest reviewers agreed that the hotel needed renovating and there were frequent complaints of clogged sinks, broken faucets, broken refrigerators, broken coffee makers and worn carpets.
It should be noted that the hotel has informed us that they will be doing renovations to the hotel, starting in February 2013 and will last throughout the year.
