"Would never go back there."
"No food or drinks on site. Have to drive for anything. Cigarette burns in the mattress. Ceilings leaking or have leaked. Patio doors filthy. No pop in vending machine. Grout falling out in bathroom. Half of the lights wouldn't work or were broken. Clean towels in the bathroom. Stains in the carpets and they looked dirty. Air conditioning making big banging noise in the night had to turn it off. Really hot in the hallways. Outside was not very attractive. Garbages overflowing at the back. Condom wrapper on the ground."

"Staff was friendly but not impressed with the room"
"the Air conditioning unit was leaking water into the room and their fix was to give us towels to put around the air conditioner to prevent water from spreading further into the room. Made me wonder how long it had been leaking and was there mold as a result. Big cobweb on the ceiling that had obviously been there for a while. We were a family of 4 and they had 2 towels, 1 packet of shampoo and 1 packet of conditioner."

"Trenton Howard Johnson's will not see me again."
"Shortly after getting to Howard Johnson's, I took a walk around and found the building to be in a very rundown state. The mattresses in the room felt as through they had been there since year one. And when I went to the continental breakfast, I retrieved bread out of the package and found it to be blue. The bagels were also stale. This is not the standard that I have come to expect from Howard Johnson's."

"The cost for our stay was very good. However on our first night we shared the room with a large bug-beetle?? Were there other "beasties" lurking about that we didn't see?Even a coat of paint in common areas would be an improvement."
