The GoodGuests who stayed at this hotel had more complaints about the property than compliments. However when guests enjoyed their stay or at least an aspect of it they often mentioned one or more of the following: a convenient location for airport travelers, good value, and/or polite and friendly staff.
Many guests of this hotel were airport patrons. As such they consistently said that they picked the property as a place to layover because they felt the proximity to the airport was convenient. Less frequently, some guests said that the hotel's proximity to nearby highways was convenient.
Some other guests mentioned that the hotel offered free long term parking to guests who stayed at the hotel (meaning guests were able to use the property to store their vehicle close to the airport while they traveled). This convenience offered extra value to these guests as long term airport parking can be costly.
Many guests also thought that the room rate's inclusion of free airport shuttling and free Internet helped improve the value of what they paid. Occasionally, guests commented directly on the room rate itself and said they considered it reasonable.
Lastly, guests who commented on the staff typically approved of their customer service. They were often called "friendly" and/or "helpful".
The Bad
Guests were not impressed with this property from several perspectives. Commonly, guest complaints in reviews mentioned the rooms, the hotel common areas, and numerous other problems.
In terms of frequency, hotel guests complained about the rooms more often than anything else. Some guests complained about a bad smell, others said that there were bed bugs, while many guests just generically said that the rooms were rundown and in need of general improvements.
Guests had similar problems with the hotel's corridors which they judged to be in need of better maintenance. Specifically, numerous guests pounded the gavel when it came to the carpets in the hotel - carpets were said to be full of cigarette holes.
Multiple guests complained about the ice makers in the hotel not working. Some guests thought that the area the hotel was situated in was "sketchy" or exuded an unsafe vibe. Occasionally guests said that the parking lot was too dark for their liking.
Most guests that used the shuttle were happy that it was free. However some guests said that it only ran every hour and that meant long wait times for patrons whose flights arrived at unlucky times.
