The Good
Guest reviews consulted for this analysis showed positive responses towards the hotel's location, rates and rooms.

The hotel's location was convenient for many lodgers. They found it close to the airport, shopping, restaurants, a convenience store, highway access, public transit and Sheridan Mall.

Several reviewers were pleased with the hotel's rates. They described them as reasonable, unbeatable, budget friendly and cheap.

The hotel's staff were complimented by several travellers. They were characterized as friendly, efficient, accommodating and helpful.

The Bad
Guest critiques sourced for this review showed negative responses towards the hotel's rooms and free breakfast.

Although some guests were satisfied with their clean and comfortable rooms, some lodgers criticized their accommodations. They reported poor Wi-Fi connectivity, dated decor, worn furniture, fixtures, appliances and carpets, broken heating/air conditioning, some cleaning issues and noise transfer from guests in adjacent rooms.

The hotel's free breakfast was a disappointment for a few lodgers, who described it as unhealthy, limited and not replenished when items ran out. One patron noted, "Continental breakfast lacked fruit/veggies and a better selection of proteins. Could have been more nutritional and used eco-friendly disposable plates/cutlery".

"Absolutely horrible, bad customer service."

"Good for a one night emergency stay, but that is about it. The customer service is absolutely horrible. There were 4 loud hot machines outside in the hall (I assume for bed bugs control) that blew ALL NIGHT LONG. When I called to complain the representative told me it was a "maintenance" service at place and must stay on for 24 hours. They had extension cords running out from our room into the hall to power these loud machines, taking up two of our outlets and running through our room. The cable was not working and I called to repair it the minute I got to my room and he said he will have someone come and fix it, no one came. I asked to be relocated and he said that there was no rooms left (this was 3PM) I called later on in the night and the same guy told me I should have called when I checked in and there would have been rooms available. I was told TWO different stories."

"the front desk staff could barely speak english, and thet were trying to tell us we had no reservation, we even spelled our last name 3 times, finally after the 3rd spelling they understood us and confirmed our reservation..not impressed. Also the room had a mildew smell and there was a dark ring around the tub"

"Location is good, approx. 1/2 an hour to Toronto, grocery store and gas station nearby as well as Blockbuster and a shopping mall within 5 minutes driving. My room was cleaned daily. Good stay especially that you will probably spend most of the time touring the city."

"An economy hotel in an economy area..."

"Hotel needed a little better maintenance staff, lots a minor dents and scratches. Thermostat didnt work, TV was decent, lounge closed early, cleaning staff put a broken coffee pot in the maker, they did replace it quickly, but stll it was broken and was easily seen. On the plus, king bed and pillows were nice and room was comfy, would not have paid full price."

"I didn't get to stay as long as I would have liked because of some airline issues, but the few hours I was there, I found it to be a very nice hotel with helpful staff."

"Staff were very friendly and attentive---from front desk to the shuttle driver to the restaurant (where we got to practice our Spanish even!) to even the guy painting the ceiling in the pool! Your strength is definitely your people (but the hairdryer and fancy shampoo didn't hurt either after a long trip in the jungle!) Thanks for everything! We'll be back..."

"They have bomber hinges on the doors and the doors slam. This started around 9 p.m. as the truckers made their trips to the ice machine, went to midnight, and started again at 3 a.m. as the truck drivers left. The bathroom fan was not working, there was black mould growing down the wallpaper, and if you used the toilet, the smell stayed in the suite for hours."

"I enjoyed me stay at this hotel, however , i would suggest that the housekeeping department pays a little more attention to finer details...citing instance frommy stay at your hotel - 1.the shade of the lamp was almost upside down(not broken). 2. In the washroom--no stopper for the bath tub(complete turn off). 3.Did you guys want us to drink water from the washroom..coz there was no jar with water!! 4.Coundnt order food from hotel even at 5:30pm (although it opens at 5pm). My stay at this place was a good stay because of the people i was with...if lil things like the above mentioned things were taken care of then my stay would have been fantastic! You guys can defintely do a lot better job :) Good Day!"

"The woman at the front desk when we checked in gave us very vague directions to the train to take downtown, we could not find it and ended up driving which made us late for our appointment."

"Pool never had towels - was told they were provided in the pool area. Had to call both days to front desk to get towels. The second day, an hour went by and they still had not been delivered - had to call a second time and wait when I wanted to get out of the pool. Viola, the housekeeping woman, was EXTREMELY polite. She opened and held doors for me and apologized for having to give me room 333 instead of 330 as she hadn't had a chance to clean it yet. The second day, she asked me if I wanted anything extra. She went the extra mile - she deserves recognition!"

"watch the billing as we were impacted by an error in the stated rate. It seems the order processor input the wrong rate to be applied by $10/ night. The hotel staff handled this situation exceptionally as I did have a copy of the confirmation notice which they honored. I was very impressed with how they handled this difference. Their attidude was the customer was right. I was impressed. I will definitely book this way again as it worked well & the hotel was as good as advertized. Thanks all !! Jim"

"Be careful when taking the airport shuttle service as more than one Ramada Inn picks up at the same location and they do not clearly explain this problem. We as well as a second couple ended up at the wrong hotel within an hour of each other.......a very common problem for the past two YEARS, yet to be resolved!"

"The hotel advertises itself to be "the closest family hotel to Canada's Wonderland." Not true at all. It took a half hour to get to Wonderland, when we were expecting it to be much closer. The room was older and dirtier than it looked online. We were very disappointed in our stay. In fact, we tried to find another hotel, but had no luck."
