The Good
This hotel was quite well liked overall and many guests, especially those using it for business purposes, planned to return.

Guests really liked the location of this hotel for its proximity to the subway station and the mall across the street. They could access it indoors by way of an elevator at the hotel to the lower level. Using the subway to travel saved guests time, plus stress and added parking costs. They could also avoid chilly winter weather and find good dining at reasonable prices at the mall via the underground path.

Rooms, although often considered a little dated, were appreciated for being clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. Guests seemed pleased with the value and some were happy to have a mini-fridge in the room, a rare treat for a downtown hotel.

Guests who reported on the breakfast or restaurant typically left positive comments about the food quality, but found the prices a little high.

The staff were well liked. They were described as courteous, friendly and helpful.

Some were pleased with the renovated club lounge and the well-equipped fitness centre.

The Bad
Some areas of the hotel's service were not fully satisfying to guests.

Although the rooms were largely considered comfortable and well kept, some guests complained that their rooms were a little too warm with difficulties regulating the temperature. Some felt they were a little dated and complaints centred on TVs putting out a fuzzy picture with a poor signal, and circa 80's furnishings.

Wi-Fi scores were quite low indicating dissatisfaction. Guests who were not Marriott members were charged for Wi-Fi and this was annoying to guests, and others mentioned that it was slow and cut out.
