"I was absolutely offended when I asked for a king size bed when reserving my room and upon arrival I was told I was "upgraded" to 2 queen beds and a handicap washroom. My 2 days were terrible as I started my day in a shower where water was flowing everywhere because there was no devider between the shower and the rest of the washroom. Could not shower as I had to use one hand to always hold the shower head and hose. Very bad experience and terible customer service when I told the front desk."

"This hotel has an amazing location, beautiful rooms, and mostly friendly staff. I would recommend it if you need to be right downtown in TO. However, unless you want it, unsubscribe to the automatic $2 Globe & Mail, and don't drink the $3 bottles of water in your room. Otherwise - enjoy!"

"Great stay - comfortable room & beds."
"The hotel is beautiful; the restaurant, Matisse, has a good menu, not expensive and the food was delicious. The rooms were a bit expensive"

"I liked the fact that the people at the front desk were friendly and not uptight."

"This hotel's location is execellent, right by the subway and the attractive shopping district. Our two teenage girls enjoyed the Bloor street shopping very much. Royal Ontario museum is near by as well. There are many good restaurants around within walking distance."

"I bought the romantic package getaway, which included certain things that I had to remind the hotel staff of. Other than that, the hotel was first class."

"Nice and close to Gay Business District and Subway."

"The lighting in the room was very poor. The bathroom was very small and the room, itself, very large. I always find it very hard to understand the (architectural) design in hotels where this situation exists."
