The Good
Guests that stayed at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel were generally satisfied with the property. The hotel's rooms, staff, and location all received regular compliments in reviews.

Guests that liked their rooms generally thought that they were clean and/or spacious. The beds received some mixed reviews however overall there were far more guests who considered them to be comfortable relative to the guests who thought that they were not comfortable.

The staff at the hotel received strong reviews and they were considered to be at least "friendly" and/or "helpful." Many guests paid stronger compliments and one guest, for example, said that the staff were "excellent."

The location of the hotel was well-liked by airport travelers. Several guests mentioned that they had flights to catch or that they were just getting off of one and they picked the Toronto Airport Marriott because of its close proximity to YYZ which one guests called "extremely convenient."

The Bad
Guests that were not entirely happy with the hotel had a couple very common complaints and those were associated with the hotel's prices.

For starters, many guests were disappointed that parking was not free at the hotel. Some guests called the fee "expensive" and it seemed particularly bothersome to guests that were surprised by the fee. One guest, for example, called the parking fee "hidden" while another guest said it was "not expected."

Some guests also complained about the lack of free in-room Internet access, a service many felt should have been included in room rates. The hotel's restaurant was also described as "expensive" or "overpriced."

Occasionally guests complained about noise from the airplanes although some of it was tempered due to the fact that some noise was expected at an airport hotel.

Lastly, some guests were also disappointed that the hotel rooms did not have fridges in them.

"The hotel staff was not overly friendly and not very accomodating. They refused to make any real attempt at getting us adjoining rooms, the room service number, etc. not easily accessible. The room service, when ordered, was late. The hotel was okay but I would not really recommend it."
