The GoodGuests had pretty mixed opinions about this hotel and many guests were not happy with their stay. However guests that were at least partly impressed with the property appeared to like the staff, the hotel's rates, and the room amenities.
Guests who commented on the staff were typically quite happy with the service that they provided. The employees were often called "helpful," "friendly," or "kind" and off-setting complaints were quite rare.
Many guests who stayed at this property seemed to be attracted to the hotel due to the prices that were offered. Numerous guests felt as though they received cheap or competitive rates and some guests seemed to accept some shortcomings of the hotel because of those inexpensive rates.
When it came to the guest rooms, there was a mixture of opinions however many guests liked the amenities in their rooms. Of note, there were several guests who mentioned that their rooms included fridges and microwaves.
The Bad
Guest complaints about this hotel were common and the property, according to several patrons, was lacking in cleanliness. Additionally, neither the hotel's breakfast nor the location of the property appeared to be strong points.
When it came to room cleanliness guests were pretty balanced on their opinions however the common areas of the hotel were often described as dirty. Guests felt that the hallways and public spaces were "not clean in places" and one guest said that he/she noticed "trash in the stairwell."
The hotel's breakfast was free but it still drew some criticism. Guests felt that they were offered a limited selection to choose from and one guest, for example, said the menu was "a bit thin."
The location of the hotel was not the greatest according to many guests. Some patrons felt that the hotel was far from downtown Toronto while a few other guests felt as though the area was sketchy.
