"When I booked thought has the attached bathroom. But when I tried check-in, I was shocked and realized that no atatched bathroom and a glass window on roof and no tv and etc. So didn't even check-in. Right away went on streets to check-in in some other hotel. And since I didn't even use the room or was even for a minute, I requested to get the money back. They refused to refund money atleast not even for one day. I booked for two days and when I booked said it was $115 but they charged $130. It was so disgusting. And even I gave the keys back, no receptionist and they called at 10:30pm and blamed for not giving the keys back. No reception, one of the customers shown the room and allowed us inside the hotel. I reaaly suffered a lot and apart from that they charged money. A very bad experience for the first time..."

"never choice this hotel. This is the worse hotel that i knew. The person who work overthere so impolite, he have any respecte with they"s custome. I don"t know how come he could open the hotel like this in Toronto. Just one lette TERRIBLE HOTEL"

"there's no reception area, manager available afternoon's in the basement, or by phone. so we never saw him. we had wished to change rooms, but he was unhelpful and wanted me to contact you instead. Finally given the lack of customer service i'm not sure that i would have liked to have paid more.we never were informed that my friens husband had phoned. arrival no bell, called a 1-800 #from the corner of the street and someone came to open up the 2 locked doors (at least we were safe), and deal with our papers which was done in the salon. we weren't told where we could contact that person in case of need. it was the week-end but more clean towels, as far as i could see none were available. i changed 2 toilet rolls, but the third on monday morning i left empty as there were no extra rolls. i don't know if on the weekdays someone does the overall general cleaning as the residents are expected to clean up after themselves. this facility is best for longterm residents as there are many showers/toilet facilities, one of which is just for women only. idem for the kitchen equipment and utensils. a computer (off during our stay, and a phone free for local calls. BUT
we were in room 205. small with a double bed, desk, chair, microwave oven and fridge. BUT 1)the only source of light is a window giving onto the corridor/salon with blinds for intimacy, kept shut for privacy, but which also allowed through the light from the corridor/salon, and a high skylight window that we were unable to open, so very claustrophobic and no way to air the room adequately especially eith 2 people per room. 2)the NOISE from several large machines ?AC's just opposite our room which pumped air into the corridor/salon and perhaps into the rooms. also the noise of a smaller similiar machine in our room, which i didn't manage to locate. the rooms 204 to 207 are in front of these machines and the salon where the phone is located. we weren't disturbed by the phone as the other residents answered the phone promptly.
the rooms 203 and 209 don't have a window giving out on the corridor so i presume they have a normal window, but the others (208, 210 and 211 do) appeared to have a similiar situation to ourselves.
we were 2 ladies so the double bed wasn't a problem, especially as the room is best for 1 person. i was annoyed because my friend is from france, doesn't speak english, we were visiting several north american cities including toronto at her request. it was only the second time that i'd used the internet, but in the future i will use a hard-copy guide.
