"I read a few comments on a vacation site that weren't very flattering to the Radisson so I was hesitant to book there. The only legitimate complaint I found was that there was no fan in the bathroom. I'm not sure how this could be fixed and overall the inconvenience was minor. Other than that we were very pleased with this hotel. Swimming on the rooftop pool staring up at the CN tower was quite an experience! The room was very clean and well looked after and the styling seemed to be up to date. The hotel is literally 100 ft from the water and decent restaraunts with dock patios were almost attached to the hotel. The location simply can't be beat. Service was excellent. Coming off the rooftop patio Sat. I held the door open for an employee carrying a table, they immediately put down the table thinking I was waiting for them to take my empty drink glasses rather than holding the door even though this clearly wasn't their work area. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel. True the rooms are not as luxurious as some would like but they are clean, comfortable and have everything you could ask for. The location more than makes up for any shortcomings."

"Don't feel the extra $50 to up grade the room to a lake view ( could only see the Lake if you got close up to the window and looked to the right) was justified."

"Hotel is well positioned for the lake and nice walks along the Quay. Concierge very helpful..i wanted a live music bar, he sent me to a great place on College street next door to Bar Italia. A short walk from the hotel is the harbour tour boat, a nice little trip only 1 hour...the guide is very funny.Also very informative is the 2 hour bus trip around Toronto ..this also picks up from here. Shopping at the Eaton Center on Yonge St is good (about 15min walk..Hudson Bay store is also opposite here) tho there are others i didnt try. Downside about the Hotel was the service vehicles visting during the early hours (typ 3am-4.30am) waking me several times. This could have been due to the position of my room on the east side of the building.But then Toronto is a city..and cities never sleep! A litle closer to the centre of "downtown" may have been better but then what are legs for!"
