The staff at the hotel received a great deal of praise and they were commonly called "helpful," "friendly," and/or "nice." The full-service spa also received strong reviews for the staff that did massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, and souffle wraps.
Guests of the hotel had few opinions in regard to the hotel's location as the property seemed to be a destination in and of itself. However every so often a guest mentioned that a subway station was nearby that connected to downtown Toronto.
Lastly, many guests liked the food at the hotel and the free continental breakfast was a part of the praise. One guest called it "awesome" and another pleased guest described a meal that he thought was "out of this world, with fresh juicy raspberries, smoked salmon and capers, french flaky pastries," and "brie and blue cheese."
