The Old Mill Inn and Spa is located on the south side of Old Mill Road and just to the north of Bloor Street West.

Facilities at the non-pet friendly hotel include a full-service spa, a fitness area, a 24-hour business centre, a fine dining restaurant with seating for 300, a bar/lounge, and on-site parking (free self parking, valet is $10 per night). The hotel is popular with those planning weddings or corporate retreats due to the fact that the property has a large amount of space for banquets.

There are 57 guest rooms and suites at the five-storey hotel and the entire property is non-smoking. Common amenities include air conditioning, whirlpool tubs, 32" flat screen televisions, MP3 docking stations, coffee makers, minibars, CD players, safes, desks, decorative fireplaces, and irons. A complimentary breakfast is served daily at the hotel, in-room Internet usage is free as of April 2012, and local calls cost $1.00 per call.

The Old Mill Subway Station is about 350m from the hotel, downtown Toronto's CN Tower is about 10.6km away, and the Toronto Pearson International Airport is about 16.1km away (distances - Google Maps).

The Good
Several guests who stayed at the Old Mill Inn and Spa liked the hotel and the property received a large number of compliments.

Several guests made statements attesting to a pleasant atmosphere at the hotel. The property was considered "quiet" and peaceful and many guests felt that the hotel was aesthetically pleasing or "architecturally beautiful."

Some guests described the hotel as charming or romantic and occasionally guests said that the property was "European," "English," or "Old World." Due to the hotel's charm and romantic vibes it appeared to be popular with wedding groups as several guests mentioned that they were at the property for marriage ceremonies.

The staff at the hotel received a great deal of praise and they were commonly called "helpful," "friendly," and/or "nice." The full-service spa also received strong reviews for the staff that did massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, and souffle wraps.

Guests of the hotel had few opinions in regard to the hotel's location as the property seemed to be a destination in and of itself. However every so often a guest mentioned that a subway station was nearby that connected to downtown Toronto.

Lastly, many guests liked the food at the hotel and the free continental breakfast was a part of the praise. One guest called it "awesome" and another pleased guest described a meal that he thought was "out of this world, with fresh juicy raspberries, smoked salmon and capers, french flaky pastries," and "brie and blue cheese."

The Bad
Guests that did not like this hotel were few in numbers as reflected by the hotel's high ratings.

However some guests who visited the hotel seemed to feel lost at the property. A couple guests mentioned that they had trouble finding the front desk area as they approached the hotel for the first time. Another guest who was attending an event felt like he needed a map of the area to find his way around the grounds.

Occasionally a guest indicated that he/she wished that the hotel had a pool, a facility that was lacking at the property.
