The fact that the hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants and bars was appreciated by many guest reviewers. Some guests liked being near the heart of downtown Toronto and a few guests liked having a bike rental facility across the street from the hotel.
The majority of guests were happy and satisfied with the comfort level of the guest rooms. Several guests felt that the beds were comfortable and some guests praised the hotel for providing Duvet comforters and clean rooms.

The Bad
Negative feedback regarding the hotel primarily involved the Internet, the parking fee and the decor in the rooms.
The hotel offers free wireless Internet, but a few guests complained of weak signals and being unable to access the Internet from certain areas within the hotel.
The dated decor triggered a few negative remarks. Some guests felt that the guest rooms needed to be "modernized" or "spruced up." One guest reviewer stated that a flat screen television would had been nice in his guest room.
