Overview
The Kaisar Guest House is geared to budget travellers who prefer a lower-priced room with free Wi-Fi, a common kitchen and guest laundry facilities. It's conveniently located right at a TTC stop giving easy access to public transit, only 12 minutes' transit ride from the University of Toronto. It's an easy walk to groceries, dining, shops and cafes.

Each of the smoke-free guest rooms comes equipped with free Wi-Fi, an older color TV with cable channels, a fan, an iron and ironing board and a shared or private bathroom with a hair dryer. Rooms with a desk are also available, although wheelchair-accessible rooms are not. The guest house has no elevator.

On-site amenities include two common kitchens, a coin-operated guest laundry and free coffee and tea. Public parking is available nearby (charges apply). Pets are not permitted.

The Rogers Centre and the Toronto Eaton Centre are both about a 5-minute drive away, while the nearest streetcar stop is directly outside the doors. Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is roughly 24 minutes away by car. (All travel time estimates: Google Maps)

The location was praised by numerous reviewers. They described it as central and close to the University of Toronto, restaurants, shopping, Kensington Market, Chinatown, Little Italy, public transit, downtown Toronto and the CN Tower. 

Many lodgers were pleased with the level of customer service they received during their stay. They characterized the staff as friendly, accommodating and helpful with local information.

Several guests were satisfied with the hotel's rates. They found them to be low, budget friendly and cost effective.

The accommodations were enjoyed by several travellers. They described their rooms as quiet, clean, well equipped and spacious, with comfortable beds. A few patrons complained about their lodgings, however (see below).
