The Bad
There were lots of complaints found online. Although the hotel is being renovated, many felt inconvenienced and also overcharged for the current state of the rooms.

Recent room complaints found were: tired, worn, too hot/too cold with difficulty regulating the temperature, no phone, no remote control, no blackout blinds that cover the window entirely, no table to sit and eat in the room, dirty bathroom, stained bed sheets, room not vacuumed under and behind the bed and worn beds.

Some complained of noise from: airplanes, hockey teams, children allowed to run in the hallways, in-room heaters and traffic from the road.

Although guests found the airport shuttle service convenient, there were also some complaints of it not coming on demand from the airport, but according to a schedule and not having a direct route but another stop along the way making the trip about 15 minutes in duration. Some guests also complained of long waits at the airport.

Other comments found were: extended parking lot was far from the hotel’s front doors, got stuck in the elevator, elevator door closed hard into a guest, entrance doors heavy, business centre was closed during renovations and rooms were sometimes very far from the elevator as the hotel was spread out.
