The Good
Guests that visited the Intercontinental Toronto Centre typically enjoyed their stays. In particular the location of the hotel and the views that were afforded from the rooms impressed a lot of guests.

Guests that thought that the hotel had an advantageous location mentioned the property's proximity to one or more of several Toronto destinations. The CN Tower, the Financial District, the Theatre/Entertainment District, and the Rogers Centre were attractions/destinations that were brought up by many guests. Some guests also mentioned that the hotel was near to shopping and/or the lake/harbourfront area.

Several guests enjoyed the views that were offered from their guest rooms. One guest, for example, liked that his room "had a view of the CN Tower" while another guest enjoyed "great views of the lake." The Bad
Guests that did not enjoy this hotel were predominantly critical of the prices that the hotel charged.

Many guests seemed to be taken aback by the room rates as several patrons described the hotel as "overpriced" or "expensive." One guest, for example, said he/she "found this hotel overpriced and underserviced" while another guest claimed that the property was "too expensive for what they offered."

Additional charges for parking, Internet, and breakfast left some people feeling as though they were getting nickled-and-dimed. Parking was called "pricey" and one guest mentioned that his/her costs skyrocketed due to his/her "need" to go in and out multiple times. Many guests felt that the room rates were high enough that Internet access and breakfast should have been included in room rates.

Guests that ate at the hotel's restaurant generally liked the food but many guests thought that charges were expensive.

"My wife and I ordered a meal in our room on the night before we left Toronto. The quality of this food was very poor. We ordered a club sandwich and fries. The club sandwich was just edible and the salad could only be described as very basic-ie lettuce. The fries were inedible-soggy and burnt. We sent them back and the replacement was the same! Inedible. I would not recommend the in room food service. This would alter my decision when I stay in Toronto again."
