Situated in downtown Toronto about a 7-minute drive from the Gardiner Expressway, Hotel Ocho is geared towards business or vacation travellers who require a centrally located and well-priced boutique-style hotel with an on-site restaurant and easy public transit access.

This hotel has 12 air-conditioned guest rooms, each offering free Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV, a desk, an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Standard rooms offer one double bed, and rooms with a seating area and a king bed are also available. Rooms are decorated in the modern loft style with exposed brick, high ceilings and feature artwork.

The hotel also offers meeting/banquet facilities, a business centre and on-site dining at Ocho Restaurant/Lounge which serves lunch and dinner daily, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sunday. The restaurant offers free Wi-Fi, a $5 continental breakfast and regularly hosts events with live music.

Pets are not permitted. The hotel does not offer wheelchair-accessible rooms. There is no on-site parking available.

This hotel is located in Toronto's Queen West shopping district. Numerous streetcars are available within a 1- to 5-minute walk, while Osgoode Subway Station is roughly a 12-minute walk east of the hotel.

The hotel's staff were the source of numerous compliments by guests, and were characterized as attentive, detail-oriented, friendly and helpful.

Many reviewers praised the hotel's value, and described the rates as low, great, reasonable and perfect. One guest described the hotel as a good value for downtown Toronto, and the continental breakfast (provided for an additional $5) was also praised for its value.

Several lodgers were pleased with their accommodations. They described their rooms as beautiful, clean and functional, with comfortable beds, natural lighting and good water pressure. It should be noted, however, that a few guests had complaints about their rooms (see below).

The hotel's location was also praised by several guests for its proximity to public transit, Kensington Market, the Metro Convention Centre and Queen Street. One reviewer described it as easy to get to.
