The location of the hotel was well-liked mainly because it was situated in downtown Toronto. Guests often mentioned that restaurants were nearby and some guests indicated that they liked having access to the PATH (an extensive indoor walk-way in downtown Toronto). The Air Canada Centre, the CN Tower, and the Eaton's Centre were all described as being "within walking distance" of the hotel.
Guests that commented on the value they received were typically happy. The rates were called "reasonable" or "affordable" and one guest, for example, said the room he/she stayed in "was a lot better" than that of the hotel's competitors.
Some guests commented on the elevator at the hotel which offered "scenic" views of the city, views that one guest called "panoramic." Many guests stressed that the staff were accommodating as multiple guests called the employees "very friendly" or "very helpful." Lastly, several guests thought that the hotel was clean and comfortable.
The Bad
Guests that did not like this hotel were in the minority however there were a few common areas that guests who were not entirely satisfied complained about.
The rooms at the hotel were well-liked in general but a few guests mentioned that their units didn't have fridges. Also guests did not like that in-room services cost extra such as local calls and Internet access. One guest, for example, said that the Internet charge was "hefty" and multiple other guests felt the same way.
When it came to extra charges some guests were also upset that parking was not free. It was called "extremely expensive" by one guest while another guest recommended finding public parking as an alternative.
Noise was a fairly common problem at the hotel as many patrons complained about other guests or thin walls.
