Overview
Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, just 3 minutes' walk from City Hall, this hotel offers shopping, dining and entertainment venues all within an easy walk.

The hotel has 486 smoke-free and pet-free rooms on 26 floors with elevator access. 

All rooms include free Wi-Fi, a flat screen HDTV with cable and pay-per-view movies, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a desk with ergonomic chair, a safe, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, windows that open and climate control. 

Some rooms include a sofabed, 1 or 2 separate bedrooms, a second TV, a second bathroom, a living room, a kitchenette (stove top, full-size fridge, microwave, sink), a mini-kitchen (mini-fridge, microwave, sink), dining table, bathrobes, slippers, multi-jet shower and a 2-person hot tub. Accessible rooms are available.

Rooms are furnished with 2 double beds, 1 queen or 1 king bed.

Underground self-parking is available for $35 per night with unlimited access and a clearance of 6'. Electric car charging is also available.

Local area transportation is offered.

The Good
Guests typically really liked this hotel. It was well located, the staff were really friendly and the rooms were nicely updated and comfortable.

Guests loved the location finding it an easy walk to public transit, the Greyhound terminal, Nathan Phillips Square, restaurants, shopping and many downtown entertainment venues and attractions.

Guests typically found the rooms clean and well cared for. They had recently been updated and had comfortable beds with high quality linens. Rooms on the higher floors had beautiful city views, some with the CN Tower in the background.

Guests liked the staff. They liked being greeted with a warm cookie and often made comments about how efficient, professional, attentive and very friendly the staff were.

Several guests mentioned how good the food on site was from breakfast, to dinners at Hemisphere and also the upscale Chinese/Hong Kong dining available. Even those who found breakfast or the bistro pricey said it was good.

Some enjoyed a small but nice pool with clean change rooms and great sauna.

The Bad
There were a few common areas of complaint from guests.

Parking was found to be expensive, limited at times and some said the underground lot was really tight. Some guests said they found cheaper parking across the street and also down the street in a city parking lot.

A few guests thought the dining on site was expensive at breakfast for the buffet and also at Hemisphere Bistro.

Occasionally guests found long line ups at the front desk at check in time.

Several guests complained of small rooms and uncomfortable sofabeds.

Some missed having a hot tub on site.
