Donald from Midland, ON CA stayed on June 25, 2006
"I reserved a standard room with a queen bed. The room I got was very very tiny, with only a double bed. The cot that I requested when the room was reserved was not there. Customer service was reprehensible, and a manager had to be contacted for the situation to be rectified. I would never reserve a room at the Days Inn again."

"The Room was very small with vertually no daylight. The window looked out on two adjacent vertical walls only a few feet apart. The meals were okay, but nothing special. There was a bustle of activity and the hotel must be popular, good for people watching in the lobby"

Patrick from London, ON CA stayed on March 05, 2006
"Patrick from London writes: one of the most inconvenient parts of thid hotel was the lack of parking. We had to park at a lot all night and ended up getting a $ 40 ticket. Will not stay here for that reason and also that there were about 30 young people in the hallways and the pool drinking beer. The management seemed to appear occassionally but not regularly. Lastly, there were only 4 elevators for all the floors and we ended up being frustrated and taking the stairs. It was convenient and the price was right but all told we'd stay somewhere else next time."

"Rooms are small but quite acceptable if you just need a room to sleep.
Reasonably priced for downtown Toronto. Tempature control was set to heat, couldn't get the room to cool down."

"Though we enjoyed our stay in general, there were many small annoyances: a table lamp not working, handle to flush the toilet very loose, almost came off, the bathroom sink drained slowly, the elevators were very slow. We rented two rooms for our family (two people in each room). Despite the fact that we had two double rooms for a total of 4 people, we found the rooms, small and crowded. On the plus side: beds were comfortabble and it was nice to have a little fridge in the rooms."

Anthony from Greater Manchester, EN GB stayed on August 24, 2005
"The room was nice and simple. However the airconditioning system was clunky and therefore noisey.
The Shower took an age to get warm and once it was warm it stuggled to maintain nice warm water.
The Saunas weren't switched on. (No pilot light to get them going.)
In total the hotel could have been better but it was comfortable enough."

"The beds were the most comfortable beds ever!!! (a bit tiny though).
Great location near shopping, subway, restaurants, ACC (concerts), etc.
The only negative thing was the parking, but that goes with any hotel in Toronto and there are tons of public parking spots near it. Great price, too! Would definitly recommend it."

"The only problem was the elevators were always busy. Lines every time I wanted to use them. I mostly went down the stairs (15th floor) but couldn't walk up from the lobby (locked door for safety - that's OK). You should try to fix the elevator problem, though. It was frustrating. The room was very pleasant - quiet, cool, clean."

"The room was too small for 2 double beds; it was a challenge to get from one side of the room to the other. Hopefully other rooms set up as 2 doubles have more space to move about; if so, they should convert this to a king, queen or twin/double combination."

"The staff was extrememly friendly, but the hotel rooms need a facelift. I stayed in what I like to refer to as "The Tropical Room." Every citrus colour variation you could imagine. The room was quite small and not overly inviting. The remote control had no batteries and the fridge and drawers were conveniently located, where else but, in the closet!"

"I left a note at the desk about leaking pipes in the bathroom.
The maid had no supply of face cloths or bathmats when I asked her.
We chose to stay there because I had an early appointment at Princess Margaret on Monday. The looming TTC strike caused me get get creative and cut down on travel and parkging worries. So my purpose in staying there was well served.
Thanks"

"Somehow the sanitary installations were noisy, though at floor 21 there is a need for pressure. The telephone keys didn't work at time.
The restaurant should be upgraded in terms of menu diversity, professional service and cleanness. The coffe shop was excellent, and a good speciality restaurant may become a reference point.
The location is excellent, and managing a hotel of this size in a fierce competition while keeping a low price, is a challenge."

"The first night we had to stay in a smoking room. Most hotels with smoking rooms/floors you can sorta tell there was a smoker in there previously, but we actually had trouble sleeping because the smell of stale cigarette smoke was so pervasive. Fortunately, when we asked about moving to a smoke free room the next day, we were accommodated.
The newly renovated rooms are nicely decorated. Rooms are cozy."
