Several reviewers thought the hotel was well located convenient to the airport and several good restaurant choices nearby.
Many also appreciated the free shuttle service, that ran every 30 minutes and only took a few minutes to get to the airport. Some felt that this was a good stopover hotel to access the airport, suitable also for business travellers for a shorter stay.
Many reviewers described their rooms as clean. A couple of guests said that although it was an older hotel, it was well-kept, neat and in working condition. (There were some challenges to the state of the rooms with some guests being displeased with the rooms they received.) A couple of guests said their beds were very comfortable.
A couple of guests complained of noise disturbances from other guests in the hallways or adjoining rooms. The staff accommodated those in the adjoining room and provided a quieter room on a higher floor.
Although most reviewers considered the rooms and hotel in general to be clean, a couple of guests complained that the hallways or public areas needed a more thorough cleaning and another couple of guests found rooms that had not been cleaned prior to being rented out to them.
While a couple of guests said the Wi-Fi worked great, a few guests said that they experienced slow speeds and poor connectivity.
A couple of guests said the on-site pool had a dirty ring around it.

"Easy to find and was clean"
"The only thing that i cannot understand is why the chair is on the same wall as the tv set. i picked it up and moved it so i could watch the tv. Not all people enjoy watching the tv from the bed. If watching from the bed the tv should be positioned higher on the wall. otherwise, very good stay. Been coming here for around 10+ years."

"All in all it was a plesant stay! Resturants are very close! You could choose Jack Astors and Tony Romas for dinner. Along with Perkin's for breakfast all within walking distance! Highway 401 and 400 are very close and easy to get to! As well, it is very close to the Airport! Hope you like the sound of jet engines!!"

"The night we got in they sent us to a room that hadn't been cleaned. They said they had a free shuttle service to downtown and the airport. Turned out it was only to the airport for $6.00 each way per person. Had to haggle with manager about this and with staff several times. Turns out it was a service that had been discontinued two weeks before. This service was why we choose the hotel however. In the end we got the ride except when they got times mixed up to pick us up and we ended up traveling two and half hours from downtown at night to get back to the hotel. Nothing else absolutely terrible, but not offering anything particularly special."

"This property was very comfortable and clean. The only negative I would have to say was that the floor that we stayed on was on which was the 11th floor had not yet been renovated compared to the other floors. Slight problem with the shower faucet as it leaked when the water was turned on. But overall the property was very good value with a pool & fitness area also a very nice restaurant."

"The walk in shower is convenient for everyone- disabled or not. My husband and I noted that the water in the sink splashed out a lot and it was not easy to get a basin full of water with that wheel chair accessable sink."

"There was building work going on and so the water was off during the afternoons and also the pool was closed. The main entrance wasn't up and running so it will be greatly improved when that is all finished."
