Facilities at the hotel include meeting space, an elevator, a restaurant (breakfast extra), and self parking ($19 per day). Some sources say that the hotel allows smoking however an agent that we spoke to at the hotel said that the property is non-smoking as of January 1st, 2012.
The ten-story property has 113 guest rooms and common amenities include irons, ironing boards, coffee makers, and cable televisions. Rooms also offer air conditioning, blackout drapes/curtains, in-room safes, and free Internet access. Local calls are also free provided that they are less than four minutes in length otherwise they accrue a charge of $0.80.
The Bloor Station subway station is about 450m north of the hotel while popular tourist attractions such as the Air Canada Centre, the CN Tower, and the Rogers Centre are about 3.0km away.

The GoodGuests that stayed at this hotel had mixed opinions about the property. The guests that enjoyed their stays typically said good things about the location, the staff, the hotel's prices.
The guests that liked the location of the hotel were numerous and the main reason was because it was a downtown property. Several guests mentioned that shopping and/or restaurants were near the hotel. Multiple guests also mentioned that Toronto's subway was nearby and occasionally a guest indicated that he/she liked being near the University of Toronto.
The staff at the hotel received some mixed reviews however for the most part guests approved of the hotel's service. Typically guests thought that the staff were "friendly" and/or "helpful."
Guests were generally impressed with the room rates - rates that were called "economical." One guest thought the hotel was a "good" price for the location and some other guests thought the hotel was a value pick.
Lastly, several guests thought that their rooms were large or "roomy."
The Bad
Guests that did not like this hotel often indicated that they had concerns over noise at the property or that they did not like the condition of the hotel.
The guests that complained about noise almost always cited other guests as the source of the noise and the hotel's patrons were often described as somewhat rambunctious. One guest, for example, said that other guests at the hotel were "rowdy" and that they made noise "in the halls at 3:30am." Other guests had similar concerns and banging doors was a problem for multiple patrons.
Many guests did not like the condition of the hotel. These guests typically felt that the property or furnishings were "dated" or that they "could use updating." Several guests also had problems with the water pressure in their rooms and one guest said that it "was not as strong" as he/she would have liked it to be while another guest called it "non existent (sic)."
Lastly, some guests complained about the fact that their rooms lacked fridges.
