The GoodExcellent value for money was typical among praises across reviews from Booking.com, TripAdvisor.com and Expedia.com. Comments regarding convenience of location were common as well, however this convenience was related to the proximity of the hotel to Pearson International Airport and Sherway Gardens shopping centre, not downtown Toronto. Overall guests seemed to be content with the cleanliness of the rooms, however pointed out that the rooms themselves were nothing fancy. Although, a few reviewers on TripAdvisor.com mentioned that enjoyed the high quality rain shower heads used in the bathrooms. The free in-room Internet was appreciated as well.
The Bad
Be warned, this hotel is not a central hotel to downtown Toronto. There are many other hotel options that are better suited for the traveller looking to be in the core of downtown. This hotel is near the airport as well as Sherway Gardens, but it is a bit of a drive or a relatively long public transit commute to get downtown. Rooms, according to reviewers on both Booking.com and Expedia.com, were small and somewhat cramped. In addition, TripAdvisor.com reviewers complained of noise due to outside traffic. First impressions of the hotel were not a strong point for this property. A fair number of reviews across multiple sources mentioned that the surrounding area and the interior upon entering the property did not leave the best first impression. Finally, there were some complaints across various sources that the pictures of the hotel online were a bit deceiving compared to reality.
