"A really friendly welcome to a first visitor to Canada. Air Canada gave us an excellent first impression of the country and the Bond Place kept that going. Well done!

"This was a great hotel in a great location, ideal for the visitor who doesn't know Toronto but needs to get around independently- excellent value and friendly staff. Hotel bar could do with staying open later because people are back late from trips etc, but there is a brilliant bar across the road that shuts in the early hours."

"rooms are a bit small, on the last night of my stay there was a fight in the hallway at 4:30 am could tell they were hotel guests but a lot of swearing going on, other then that it was a perfect stay. Only bad side is the area the hotel is in, kinda scarey to go out at night alone"

"Extremely friendly and helpful staff! The restaurant staff were also great. The food could use a little work. One of the most important improvements would be to offer really good coffee. I know it costs more but it would make a difference... Some whole grain choices would also be good. Thanks for asking!"

"Barry from Windsor
Staying at the Bond Place Hotel was the most enjoyable experience I have ever had at a Hotel.
Everyone was friendly , curtious, and always very helpful, which was very important to me, coming to a big city like Toronto.
I want to thank everyone there for making my stay a most enjoyable and memorable experience, I look forward to staying there again in the future. I highly recommend The Bond Place Hotel"

"Parking charges, I believe, should be brought to your clienteles attention. When travel arrangements are considered costs are taken into account, and when the parking attendant asks for $14.00 per day and you state that we are staying at Bond Place Hotel they say they have nothing to do with the hotel, even though your name is on the front of the parking lot."

"The best thing about this hotel is its relatively low price for the location it is in. It is a basic hotel, just a place to sleep. Nothing more. Cleanliness and helpfulness are adequate. People on a budget and who are not expecting any amenities could be pleased with staying here. It is near streetcars, the subway, the financial district, a large shopping center, a theatre and a variety of restaurants. If you want just a hotel room downtown to sleep in and have a shower, this would definitely be a place to consider. If you want more than that, you should consider other places."

"Hotel was clean, secure and comfortable. Also quiet, insulated from outside traffic noises and quiet hallways. Lobby restaurant/cafe, however, was out of a number of menu items we requested for dinner by 6:30 p.m., including all wine list. Could use a bit of work there. Half a block from Eaton Centre - great!"

"On Saturday night at 4am there was a fire alarm. No alarm in the room, just in the hall. We were on the 18th floor. The time it took us to wake up we barely realized what was happening and then walked down the 18 floors. No one came to check the rooms to see that everyone was out. No one did a physical check on a clip board to check against their guest list to see if everyone was out. We stood outside with the other guests in the rain. The next day we were not even offered a discount, free breakfast, or any other kind of hospitality for the inconvenience. We did not feel safe nor that they wanted our business back. I have stayed there twice but next time I go to T.O. I will stay somewhere else."

"-they gave us the wrong room, even tho we specified which we booked here, and then gave us a non-smoking floor after we requested smoking
-we received a wake-up call we didn't ask for, and had housekeeping about to walk in on us even tho it was b4 the time we were to leave and we had a do not disturb sign on the door
-the hotel is functional, but it leaves a little to be desired in how they run things"

"This hotel is ideally located if you want to be within walking distance of shopping, theatres, incredibly beautiful churches, and business in the downtown area.
Honestly we enjoyed our stay there more than the 4 star hotel we stayed at in Niagara Falls. Bond Place is clean, comfy and the staff were very nice and helpful. I thought it was a tremendous value and would definately recommend it to others as well as stay there again myself. My sister in law is a travel agent who was unfamiliar with Bond Place and suggested a much more expensive hotel that she knew. I am glad I didn't listen to her, Bond Place was ideal."

"Could only stay one night instead of the 2 scheduled nights (We had to fly urgently back to Europe due to the sudden loss of a parent in the family) but we enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon at the same place.
Special thanks to the kind person at the reception for his understanding and cheer up words in that particular situation.
Greetings and best Regards from Switzerland ! ^__*"

"Small but clean room in a very convenient location at a very affordable price, especially when you consider Toronto's prices almost rival Manhattan. Didn't interact w/staff except to check in/out and found them professional. Didn't patronize the hotel restaurant...too many choices outside the hotel. The hotel parking lot is not readily noticeable so we ended up parking in the public lot directly across the street...was just $3/night more but also closer to the hotel. If price and location are a factor, and as long as you don't mind a small room, I'd recommend this hotel."
