"I spent a few days in the East Wing.... Stains on the carpet, 1 battery in the remote, tub/shower mold quite bad showered at mine site instead. Inside hotel 5 minute walk, 2 elevators to get to room, no parking availble in underground."

"The towels were grayish with undefinable stains. The beds seemed clean. The ceiling in the bathroom was dirty and paint was visibly peeling. Dead flies came out of the bathroom ceiling fan/vent. Additionally, the desk staff did not answer the phone after 8pm. There was no fresh fruit with the continental breakfast. This was business travel, and we were not impressed with this Comfort Inn."

"since i arrived late I received a smoking room. the room was dirty with greasy dirt ground into the carpet and the bedding and curtains were permiated with smoke. the night clerk attempted to defog the room but even my clothing smelled of smoke when i left. I even burned a candle in an attempt to cover the smoke. This room needed to be completely gutted and have the carpet changed and the bedding and curtains changed.The experience was smelly and unenjoyable."

"One comment only. I'd like to see the Continental Breakfast included at all Comfort Inn Hotels. Continental Breakfast at Timmins was included. I stayed at the Kapuskasing Comfort Inn the next day and found the Continental Breakfast charge of $2.99 totally ridiculous.
Perhaps setting the same policy for all Comfort Inns might be a policy worth exploring."
