The Good
Guest reviewers were usually quite pleased with their stays and highlighted the location and indoor pool with waterslide.

A number of guests liked this hotel's proximity to shops and to restaurants. They mentioned a drug store, groceries, fast food as well as regular dining spots.

Several guests enjoyed the clean pool area. They liked being able to view the pool from hallways and rooms, had fun on the waterslide and appreciated that there were lifeguards on duty.

Guests said that rooms were clean, comfortable and well laid out, and some enjoyed comfy beds, updated rooms and quiet air conditioning units. One recent reviewer wrote, "Rooms were clean, newly done and a nice size."

Several guests found the hotel staff very accommodating and helpful, and some called the reception quick and friendly.

Guests seemed to enjoy dining on site. More than one conveyed that the food was good at Chicago Joe's and one guest told of how they accommodated a young girl with a pancake breakfast even though the breakfast was officially over.
The Bad
There were some complaints found online in recent reviews.

A number of guests were disturbed by noise. Some found poolside rooms noisy and a few heard guests in neighbouring rooms and the hallways.

Room complaints consisted of: cot blanket had holes, carpets in hallway and room needed better cleaning or replacing, musty smell in the rooms and imperfectly cleaned bathrooms.

Some guests complained that the rooms only came with 2 breakfast vouchers, although the kid's breakfast was only $3.99

A few guests complained that the waterslide was open for limited hours, although the pool was open all day.
