The Good
Many guests enjoyed their stay leaving lots of positive comments and high scores online in the reviews. This was a pleasant place to come for a family vacation, for some outdoor recreation and for couple's getaways.

Guests were pleased with the rooms and cottages. They were described as being well laid out, quaint and even luxurious, with lots of amenities and offering the expected comfort and value. Guests especially loved the soaker tubs and sitting out on the balconies. Many found comfy beds.

The location was a big plus. There was skiing right on site, golfing and hiking nearby and guests could walk to a large selection of good restaurants and some shops in the village. Some guests really loved the area with its scenery

The staff did a good job. They were described as friendly, informative and helpful with requests.

There was a shuttle service to the hills and village and guests found the service to run efficiently.

Guests enjoyed the breakfast offered on site. Some mentioned large baskets delivered to the rooms and others spoke fondly of a buffet.

There were family-friendly amenities and activities on site which were well pleasing to guests. Even the hot tubs offered a choice of two--a family one and an adult one.

Although their was a recent change in ownership of the resort, guests seemed to still find the property well cared for with even some updates done, such as paving the inter-lodge pathways and those connecting to the pool and clubhouse and resurfacing completed to the pools and hot tubs.

The Bad
There was the occasional complaint or nitpick but no apparent common complaints.

Although many guests found the lodge and area quiet, some mentioned hearing guests in rooms above getting ready to go skiing in the early morning and guests enjoying the pool and hot tubs.

Sometimes lodgers complained that their rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis. The hotel arranged for a once per week cleaning and not daily housekeeping which was available for an extra cost.

Very rarely, it seems that a guest would find the bed either too firm or too soft for comfort.
