The GoodThe customer service at this hotel was frequently complimented by guests. The front desk agents were described as courteous and professional, with one guest saying that the staff were "exceptional to deal with". Another reviewer said that the staff treated him like family and "went out of their way to make sure that everything was okay."
Many guests found their rooms to be clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with modern decor and furnishings. Several reviewers mentioned that their rooms appeared to be recently renovated. One guest thought the entire property was "spotless" and a few other reviewers described their rooms as quiet.
The location of this property was also praised by many guests for being within walking distance to several downtown attractions and restaurants.
Several guests found the free wireless Internet, flat screen televisions, indoor pool, and fitness facility to be value added features. A few guests found the hotel offered good value for the money they spent and mentioned that they were likely to stay at this property again in the future.
The Bad
Most complaints, among reviews used for this analysis, seemed to describe isolated experiences. However, there were a few common concerns.
More recent reviews indicated that the pool and hot tub were undergoing renovations and were closed for the duration of some guests' stays. A couple of reviewers were disappointed that there were not advised of this disruption ahead of time by reservations staff. A few other guests were disappointed by the closure because they specifically chose this property for the indoor pool.
The Sleep Number mattresses were the source of another common complaint. Several guests found the Sleep Number feature not in working order in their rooms, while a few other reviewers simply described the mattresses as uncomfortable.
As mentioned above, many guests complimented the condition of their rooms. However, a few reviewers had some isolated concerns about the guest rooms, including: noisy heating and air conditioning units, small and cramped bathrooms, cigarette smoke odours, and unreliable in-room wireless Internet.
