The Good
This hotel has been renovated and guests were very pleased with the clean and comfortable rooms they found. The hotel had some nice designer touches with modern back-lit mirrors and glassed-in shower half walls, warm ambiant lighting in the room and the 'comfiest hotel beds ever'.

Hotel amenities pleased as well, with a large pool with comfortable water temperature and lots of parking available with convenient back door access.

Guests liked the staff. They were described as helpful, friendly, professional and caring.

The dining on site was highly praised for food quality and service. Guests mentioned enjoying meals at large gatherings, banquets, special-occasion brunches as well as breakfasts.

Guests found the location convenient to the highway, downtown and to restaurants in walking distance.
The Bad
The hotel missed it on occasion and a few guests pointed to some weak spots.

Guests were sometimes disturbed by noise. They mentioned the sound of elevators near the room, loud AC/heating units, guests talking in the next room, and some noise from the lounge on site.

Some guests found the layout of the hotel confusing and awkward in getting to the elevator.

Cleanliness issues were raised. Complaints included poorly cleaned hallways, fruit flies in a guest room, and stairwells had an odour. One guest was assigned a room that had not been cleaned.

A couple of guests complained that the modern showers (with half walls) caused water to spill out onto the floor of the bathroom. There were also a couple of complaints over small and awkwardly laid out bathrooms.
