The Bad
Negative reviews were plentiful in recent reviews read for this report. They mentioned the hotel's worn decor and loud air-conditioning units, missing and unpleasant staff, mouldy and dirty bathrooms.

Several guests felt the hotel's decor and furniture were worn and outdated. They described stained carpets as well as old furniture and fixtures. Some reviewers did not believe that the hotel had been renovated in 2013 except for possibly the lobby and elevator replacement.

Complaints abounded and covered a variety of issues: mouldy, dirty bathrooms, staff had limited hours at the front desk (from 8:30 am to 8 pm and 5 pm on Sunday) and guests arriving later had to check themselves in with keys left in the mailbox, unreliable Wi-Fi, poor service at the on-site restaurant, old and worn furniture, dirty towels left from previous guests, threadbare towels and shabby bed linens, cracked tiles, torn lampshades, missing lightbulbs, bunched up carpets, filthy walls, duct tape on wall thermostat, surly staff, rooms had hair on couches and showers, dirty carpet, poor drainage in bathroom, lumpy bed and rusty water from taps in bathroom.

Guests also complained about the cost of the rooms and having to pay extra for parking with so many disagreeable factors.
