Many reviewers described their rooms as clean, spacious, and well-appointed with modern furniture. One guest said, "I was impressed with the new decor, and everything was very clean and in excellent condition [sic]". A few reviewers also specifically mentioned that their beds were comfortable.

Several guests thought that the elevators were old and not well-maintained. One reviewer said that the elevator was noisy and "lurching" between floors. Update: the hotel contacted CanadianHotelGuide.com in April 2013 to advise that the elevators were replaced. Since this update, the hotel claims that guests have had a positive reaction to the new elevators, which were said to be brand new and efficient.
A few reviewers said that they were disappointed that breakfast was not included in the room rate. One guest said that he left the hotel for breakfast because the on-site restaurant and in-room dining menus were too expensive.
A couple of reviewers also thought that the room rates, in general, were expensive. One guest said that he "paid dearly" for his room.
