"Rather sleep in car"

"Our non-smoking room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The fan in the bathroom was very nosiy, the walls were dirty. Needless to say we kept our shoes on."

"Poor planning"

"I was in Sarnia for business. I booked online for 4 nights at the Super 8. My room was on the ground floor (124) the room was very clean which was appreciated. As I was working all day (14 hours a day) when I retired I was looking forward to getting some sleep. The POOR PLANNING of the hotel is that there was a baseball team staying at the hotel in the rooms above me. That is fine, however the kids were less than respectful (look kids will do what they want when away from supervision) and partied until 04:00. The first night, the ball team partied right outside in the parking lot in from of my room (124) because their rooms (224 and 222) where just above so the party was out in front and above me. In the morning there were beer cups and food stacked on my Jeep as if it was a serving table. The second night, the party got so out of hand that players were getting sick (drinking too much) in the stair well and again pizza crusts and other food were scattered about. I could not afford a third night with no sleep so I asked for a refund and the clerk replied that they offer no refunds, so I was stuck paying for two extra nights. The POOR PLANNING by hotel management was to put these kids on a second floor. One would logically think having these kids on a bottom floor would have minimized any noise or disturbances. In addition, the hotel could have informed me that they had a baseball league staying there. Nonetheless, my complaint is that I am out two nights stay all because the hotel management failed to properly plan this. And I have no recourse."

"No in room coffee and no clock in the room was very inconvenient. The bathroom and hallway light flickered wildly before coming on fully. I was told this was new lighting. It was extremely difficult on the eyes. The bed was okay but not that comfortable. There was a large screen television and a vcr if that's important to you. I'm not sure if I would recommend this hotel. I would probably try somewhere else if I have to stay in Sarnia again."
