Many lodgers complimented the state of their rooms at this hotel. They described them as clean, quiet and modern, with comfortable beds, a strong Wi-Fi signal, and beautiful views of the Otonabee River.
The hotel's location was praised by several reviewers. They found it to be close to downtown Peterborough's restaurants and shops and Trent University, and some described the location as tranquil and picturesque. It should be noted however, that one guest suggested this hotel is better suited to those with vehicles.
Numerous guests were pleased with the level of customer service they received. The staff were characterized as friendly and knowledgable, as well as efficient during the check-in and check-out processes.
The Bad

Some guests complained that the hotel's pool was too crowded. They reported that many locals with their families buy passes to the hotel's pool, causing it to be very busy. Another guest mentioned the pool being very full while sports teams were booked at the hotel.
While many reviewers enjoyed their modern and updated rooms, a few guests felt their rooms were in need of upgrading, specifically the bathroom fixtures and carpets. It was reported that this hotel has some newer, updated rooms available, while others are older.
