"pool - paint on deck came off on our feet - needs work hot tub - so many chemicals that our eyes watered after only 1 minute and the foam on top of the water was awful in smell, colour room - smelled awful. Sheets were clean. The roof of the hotel outside our window was metal so when it rained, the noise was worse than a freight truck. There was also a genereator or something beside the hotel that ran and sounded like an army of freight trucks. The hallways smelled very bad. Stale air combined with cigarette smoke and old carpets ??? We held our breath whenever we went through the hall to our room. Considering we were in a small town, there was too much noise. The people were nice but for the money, the hotel was not worth it. Unfortunately, there is not much choice in that town. However, we will try to find somewhere else next time we go to Pembroke."

"Thank you for asking for our opinion after we stayed. Unfortunately, that was the first and last time we will stay with you. We are in Pembroke at least once a month and it's a shame you lost two very good clients. On the day of our check out we were told "you ruined everything, all your stuff needed to be out by 2pm and now we've booked you in for another night, too bad." Needless to say we were shocked by the way we were spoken to. There was a miscommunication between staff about our request for a late check out (we called it in the night before) and I was told I should have been "responsible enough" to reconfirm our late check out the next morning - never heard of ever having to do that before. It's unfortunate that we had such a bad experience at your hotel. Perhaps a few people there could use some Customer Service training. Thank you, Eileen"
