"The front desk was exceptional. They definately went the extra mile. The lounge/restaurant/bar was not as attentive and not at all friendly, but the people at the front desk and cleaning staff made up for it."

"When I needed to heat the room, I had to look for the heating/cooling system. The air conditioning unit was hidden behind a table and had not been used for some time. Consequently it imparted the foul odor of mildew for the first few minutes (which stayed as an uninvited guest for the rest of the night).
The room itself was clean but they were a quite stingy with those litle extras that are often a pleasure to recieve at most hotel chains - such as extra soaps, shampoos and coffee that tastes like coffee (there was an empty fridge - maybe a few of those 10% real coffee creams I see at most gas stations would have made the java a little more civilized - and - has the world forgotten about biscuits?).
A free continental breakfast would have been a nice touch and/or some kind of evening snack. Instead I found a guest directory that was full of "extra charges" and the threat of extra charges for everything from late check-out times to missng face cloths and towels.
The room was clean but not very friendly. At a cost of over $150.00/night and very few freebees; next time I'll book a B&B and enjoy a bit of hospitality with my accomodations."
